Greenwich is an expensive place to live..

  1. Well, we know enough not to wear brown shoes and gray socks with a blue suit. De rigeur for the ibank crowd, is it?

I can't imagine a more inappropriate pic than a poser sitting in an SLR while wearing brown shoes with a $100 suit. Kmart for the gray socks? You've gotta be a hit with the ladies.

  4. i get the sense that atty is trying to gracefully end this exchange.

michael, you are definitely one nutty guy. i have been around the block a few times, and rarely say that. you are so way out of your league. when you realize that later, you will feel real stupid. please let me know if you ever consider moving to connecticut.

  5. Sorry to clutter the thread. The guy is viral -- he infects every thread in which he posts. I find it the height of cowardice to start a thread challenging the forum to box, and then avoiding the thread as if it didn't exist. His lambasting of the OP was too much. He's working at a body shop and this kid is working at a Greenwich fund at 21. The irony was too much to bear.

The brown shoe fiasco was too much

  8. Hehe. I realized a long time ago that this messageboard is far from a serious website. My attitude is one of a sarcastic New Yorker and thats how I speak on this messageboard. Some guys here, who come from NYC, love reading this type of stuff, as much as I love typing it.

Some people here do not realize when Im being sarcastic or when Im serious. They do not differentiate between the two views. In their minds, everything they read here is serious.

Lets look at this Atticus guy. I bash the Interactive Brokers stock by stating that I called their customer service line requesting short shares from the beginning. That was all a gag, an obvious gag, yet this guy took it seriously. I was just bashing the stock with artful wit and humor by stating we should short it and that its better then VG. By the way, I was right about the stock from the start.

Then I post up this gag article from Adam Hamilton with the title "HEAD FOR THE HILLS". Another obvious gag yet look at how so many people took it way too seriously. 6000 views and a ton of responses.

There was once a program called War of the Worlds that was broadcast about the US and where all these people paniced taking it too seriously despite periodic reminders that it was only a fictional dramitization. I once wondered how anyone could take that seriously especially with all the reminders throughout stating it was not real.

Well, now I know. The scientific evidence is right here on this website as to why people paniced. Too many people in the US take things far too seriously even when they are obvious gags.

We were on the floor laughing over here when Atticus gave us the number to the Reno PD, started emailing us his address and phone number. The best was when he started telling us how he wanted to meet us at some gym. I cant make this stuff up, its all in writing.

As for 1000 word missive's, Im a speed typist and I can respond to 200-300 emails per day. This takes me about a minute to write. No sweat off my back.

Its a lot of fun playing and I do expect to receive a phonecall off my box with the words "Candycane".

  9. What kind of "unique" individual states he's calling the NYPD to get a guy vetted who lives in another state? Now that's comedic potential. Not to be outdone, and all the while responding to his own posts, he starts with the threatening acronyms; NICB, ASPCA, etc... I follow the subtext, it's not difficult, and quite understandable considering his lacking intellect.

Kind of him to revisit his prior scams in such minutiae. Must be tough carrying all that baggage, eh Mike? You realize I own you, but the joke is on me, as you're worthless.

He's "on the floor" with his "turret" watching "Nickleodeon".

Of course I'm not on ignore, as much as the little pest would like us to think so. Hey Mike, I thought you were through spamming, to use your words?

  10. i think most here know when someone is being facetious. i will also add, most here believe you are nuts. i could not imagine what it would be like to know you in person. i cringe.

now you are backing off all you posts by saying it was all a joke? unbelievable, probably the most shocking and telling post you have ever made. (besides, you type fast and your spelling suffers.)

hey, this post and last post were on topic too; i included connecticut in it! see......
