Greenwich is an expensive place to live..

  1. You can fight me at the tournament that will be held in an athletic club in Manhattan which is sponsored by a certain trading publication and will take place in the Fall. Its up to you to get an invitation to the tournament. The invitation was sent to me and I gladly accepted. Sorry, wont do any private matches on the streets or in one of your gyms.

If your such a hotshot trader, then you should be able to get the invitation to the tournament. Im not boxing some weirdo off of a messageboard who wants to meet at some random place.

I have confidence that I can sell anything. I can sell an estimate to an insurance adjuster at a random bodyshop, drugs to a doctor, commercial property, etc. Whatever you give to me I will sell. I dont work for 40 grand a year though.

If you can push over 100 grand in repairs through a shop each month, then you will get paid six figures easily. If I were still in the business, then I would negotiate a percentage of the ticket with the owner. 5-10%. At a shop that is associated with one of Ray Catena's repairing high end Mercedes or Lexuses, it would be easy and fun. Easy and fun for me that is because I love cars and I love to sell.

Whenever I have applied and interviewed for a sales job, then I have obtained it and succeeded. Its all about charisma, saying the right things and handling yourself in person face to face. At any sales operation, you have to make the hiring manager see the dollar signs. Then once you have the job, you need to actually make the dollar signs. Few people can go into a room and walk out with a stack of business cards. I know that I can do it, because I do it everyday.

During rough times, like 2001, I refuse to accept the reality of unemployment and will work in shady enterprises like car dealers. Fortunately, the times have been good and hopefully we wont go back to that reality. I did enjoy my time working around cars though and it was a new experience.

Stop sending me random addresses to some small out of way town in Nevada. Your one weird dude.

  2. By the way, I do have Google earth and I did plug in the address. Dont make me post up a picture of the trailerhome park where you live at. You shouldnt send your address out like that. Did you think I was going to mail a 1000 dollars to some random guy living out of a trailer park in Reno?

Fortunately, Im not a mean or vicious guy and wont publish up the address or post up the picture of your, errr, residence.

  3. I honestly don't understand the brute-force method of posting... I don't care about your automotive background.

Reno is small, out of the way town in NV? I concede it's small, but happens to be the second-largest town in the state. Random? Well, it's my home address at the base of Mt Rose.

Too bad you can't sell your BS here... you lost the bet and I'll expect a check. Preferably not a third-party, out of state payroll check from some "random" body shop.

You stated to PM you for details on the boxing thread. Send me the details. I am affiliated/clear a top-five IB.

  8. Thats not what it looks like...maybe Google Earth is wrong in its mapping, maybe Im looking at the wrong trailer park.

You first tell me that you will meet me at someplace in the Bronx to fight then you say to send you a check to someplace in Reno. Reno is very far from the Bronx the last I checked or maybe the map on Google is wrong again.

I'll humor you now and say that the map is wrong. Of course, Reno is right next to NYC and that place I saw on Google earth is not a trailer park.

In any event, no check will go out to your place in Reno. Im not falling for whatever scam your thinking...

So why are you posting so aggressively when the markets are trading? Are you not this hotshot trader who commutes in between Manhattan and Reno?

  9. I did a psych rotation, but couldn't tell you. Perhaps he's unique. I find the brown shoes with the navy suit most troubling of all:

  10. Sorry, I wasnt color coordinated that day. Look at you. Big time trader posting in real time during market hours. Maybe you trade the foreign exchanges thats it.

Come on, your main concern is posts on a messageboard. You dont trade.
