Greenspan's Phd a fraud

  1. Why be surprised? New York University's academic reputation is *already* bad.

  2. It must have been a slightly early 'april fool's' because of deadlines? If true it's hilarious on many levels. They couldn't admit they gave the purse-strings to an unqualified (maybe even devious) charlatan. How common are PHDs from a department at a university that size? If PHDs were not stored in the seventies then just ask the library for the one preceding Greenspan's and the one after. If the library has them then something's even more fishy.Approach those two authors and see what their experience was.If their own work is brought under suspicion/aspertion I expect the truth would come out rather quickly.

  3. It appears the fluff book needs to make some noise for people to buy it. NYU has a bad reputation? lol. No wonder on this site taxi driving is considered an honorable job.

  5. They got ahold of him, but he was nowhere near a communications device (cell phone, email, etc.), where he could contact Forbes and simply tell them about his paper?

Greenbubble is in a hole, hoping this will just blow over.

  6. So the potentially falsified or bogus credentials of a Fed chairman are irrelevant, whereas a former president who chose to share a cigar with a willing intern in a decidedly non-traditional way is a scoundrel? Admittedly, neither fellow would win a good deed award for such conduct, but which one's deception had a potentially larger and more meaningful effect on a very large number of people? (Performance notwithstanding, particularly since Greenspan's performance has been suspect by most thinking people.)

  9. Did they ever find Greenspan's Phd?

Most people didn't know Greenspan was also a fraud. Now he's "too big to jail".
