    April 8 (Bloomberg) --
    Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the current credit crisis is the worst in at least half a century.

    Greenspan, who retired in 2006 after 18 years as the U.S. central-bank chief, was speaking at a conference in Tokyo today via satellite from Washington.

    He is being rightly unmasked as an incompetent and discredited so the USD100,000 per dinner speeches are probably drying up. Hopefully the old lizard will then slink away into oblivion.
