  1. MADRID (MarketWatch) -- Unemployment in Greece rose to 12.1% in February, up from 9.1% in the year-ago period and 11.3% in January, the Hellenic Statistical Authority said Thursday. The level is the highest in five years and the International Monetary Fund has said unemployment could move to as high as 15% in the next two years as austerity measures take effect in the embattled economy. The highest unemployment rate in the euro zone is in Spain, where jobless levels are at just over 20%.
