GREED in Trading

  1. So if a trader's sole purpose is to make cash by taking money out of the market, that would be considered greed? And if another trader's sole purpose is provide the liquidity in the market, capital for companies, etc, for a profit, then that would be considered sound business ettiquette?

It's interesting because most of the people that I've talked to about Gates, Buffet, Rockefeller views them as greedy people. I really don't think they are because they have contributed to mankind and the business world.

  2. I forgot to add. I asked about the difference between greed and sound business because I do not have the answer myself. I'm interested to know other opinions on this matter.

    Thanks,
