That's exactly the problem with these types of Systems I found. They don't like volatile non trending periods.
I've learned to stay away from choppy markets, as it's an easy way to give back profits. I find it better to wait for a strong move. In Futures there's always a good move, at least once a week, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Best times to expect a good trend are around high impact events, like FOMC.
Not enough examples to draw a conclusion, but it looks like he's doing "Price TA"... the same approach I've been recommending to ETers for years. And if he is, two thumbs up.
Blood sport was a good movie I like this movie also called "Enter The Dragon" Starring Bruce Lee. His quote "Boards don't hit back"
All marked points are legitimate signals. Claims of illegitimacy could be made if all signals over time result in a successful trade. Any active trader understands that ANY signal no matter how clean or strong can fail and there is no way of knowing before hand which trade (s) will result in a profit or a loss. The best any of can do is have an edge with a trade plan to preserve it and the discipline to trade it according to the rules of the plan. Sideways markets can be traded but they require different methodologies and only then with adequate range. Such conditions are not recommended for a new or developing trader and are not necessary to trade for anyone. Patience for any trader is vital and markets will breakout and trend at some point.
Everyone is fake, edited, scripted, in social media, online. Or either has an agenda to put on this rosy, magical, image of themselves. I personally don't trust any trader on any website who makes great, fabulous, claims or records of any sort. If a trader was so Magical, had a Divine Touch....they would have a net worth of over 100 million from all that growth and compounding. Thanks for that. I've got a lot of respect for your TA. Just as some background, this Guy two weeks ago showed a Chart, stating how he Trades along the 50 EMA, nothing else. "Someone" spoke about the T- line system, and within 2.5 hours this Guy put up this Chart stating he's been using it for Weeks, contradicting his previous Chart. @easymon1 would be proud he's at least now following the T- line Thanks.
