Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

  1. Oz used to post here.

    Then again, he's a multi-millionaire. Not 1/2 billionaire...

  2. Can anyone really touch the daytrading results produced by Dmitry Balyasny during the tech bubble?

$50 mil gross/year, while generally sticking quite rigidly to a time frame of not longer than two days in any position.

P.S. Thanx Szeven, but I still have a lot of work to do before I put up my first 8-figure year. Not quite there yet...

  3. You have been only a short while on this board seeing the date of your registration.

There used to be far more succesful traders posting here but most of them have learned their lessons and are nowadays keeping their stuff to themselves. But I can tell you that every now and then they'll post in order to pry. And they definitely lurk.

  5. i just read up on dimitry.no question he was an incredible trader but no doubt he traded 10's of millions of $'s at a pop as he had access to shoney's capital. zanger did it from scratch all his own money

  6. Is this an automated daytrading system?
    No overnights?

    What markets does it trade?
    Stock? Future? Option? Or what?
    What's the capital invested?
What're the principles of his trading system? (eg trend-follower)

What's its max profits & losses?
what's its max losing streak & max drawdown?

    Sorry, what's "t3s"?
    Sorry, many questions? :p

  8. There's Chris Lorenzen who did more within a shorter time than Zanger through his own cash.

Though, Dmitri is a better trader and richer.

Well... all the info I get is 2nd hand info, anyways...

But... it all depends on what you consider a great trader...

  9. The worst: -100% returns!

I know traders, due to market crash, who have run in bankruptcy. No one can be worse than them.

These worst guys are easier to spot than the best guy. You always don't know if it is the best even if it has 10000% returns. Someone may come with 10001% one day. :p

  10. I tend to disagree.

What makes you feel daytraders must fail in one day?

Too old to daytrade?! But that's another issue.
