Just finished watching the US Open 2nd round replay on CBS between Agassi and Baghdatis. Got to be one of the greatest matches in tennis history! Two great athletes. Agassi, 36 and w/a bad back, playing his heart out in a 4 hr match. Baghdatis, coming back after being down the first 2 sets to win the next 2, then fighting painful leg cramps in the last set, including almost winning one game that went to a 9th deuce! Wowsa! H
Agassi should have called it quits after last years final with Federer - where he played very well. He's the greatest shotmaker ever. I have tickets to the open on Sunday - hopefully I see him play if its not raining. I guess he's looking for the Sampras like fairy tale ending of going out with a grand slam title.
