http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/05/28/MN4417SV8H.DTL Isn't it interesting that Texas does not have anywhere near these problems?? I wonder why
I have zero worries about CA, they will be handed the billions they need to get by during this crisis just like everyone else being bailed out.
News out this morning, saying "Fed to determine why rates are going up." Sounds like the ammo dump just blew up.
Perhaps Bernanke is thinking about crushing the dollar to the breaking point, driving gold through the roof, and then the US will dump all of it's gold to satisfy it's debt problem (which would probably do it).
Or he'll crush the dollar until we are forced to adopt a currency much like the Euro. Solves our border and immigration problems at the same time. However, our sovereignty will be lost in the wind. Very sad in my opinion.
GOLD is still cheap, new highs are coming and I believe its going to 1200 by end of 2009 and 1500-2000 sometime over the next 12-18 months.
It is because California got a head start on us.......but we in Texas are going down the same road, perhaps a decade behind.
