Played AGA on your alert. Took some at .25 as it moved up. Sold at .34 and .47 Considered holding the last of it with a .25 stop, which would have been smart trading, but got greedy and took profits and got spanked when it opened today. Thanks P2.

  3. P2, again thanks for the AGA recommendation. Take a look at NUI.

  4. I don't like nui cause it really doesn't fit this pattern. It looks like news that caused it to sell off, but it's not oversold in the same way, and wont bounce as much. Poso is the next one im stalking, and it looks like autn is finally making it's move (about time). Poso is kinda crappy though. But over 3 I guess is a buy.

  5. P2, your right in NUI not exactly fitting your pattern. I guess what I have been looking for are stocks that fit what I call a "capitulation pattern" (Note: I am new to trading and may not know all the lingo.) I may 5k on FLY in the last week. The next one I'm stalking is NL (not quite ripe yet, especially with earning to announced on 4/23). Have not traded Nasdaq stocks yet, don't have a direct trading broker yet - using Datek (non-direct) still. I want to get good at trading NYSE before trying anything else. Slow and steady for this budding trader!

  9. sorry, but I've been out this weekend. FLY was great. I missed it. That's the stuff that I've honestly been playing. Where the volume and move isn't that great. If you're nimble, you can get 3/4 of the move. Unfortunately, something like FLY I would never be able to post here. I would probably have taken my normal 5-10k shares, which would have been more than 10% of the volume.
I absolutely love NL, (shrinkwrap, since you're new, if you drop me an im tomorrow morning at aim sn: hkuppy, I'll im you when I start buying.) Once again, it's really too thin to post my buys in here. I don't like uis, It looks just like a consolidation after a bad news gap down. Flcg is questionable... I honestly wouldn't bother. I like em much better when there are many consecutive days down. But you could probably make some money in it. It's probably good til 10 by friday.
KPA looks like a consolidation before another move down. The volume surge probably cleaned out that seller though. But I don't think you can get more than 3/4 out of it, so im not biting. Insua is interesting. Looks like it found a buyer, and broke that downtrend. But it's not really this pattern. Im not gonna play that either.
ATSI looks like a double bottom. Im gonna probably play that one tomorrow

  10. OK. One time only, I'm gonna post my entire play list for tomorrow after scans, regardless of volume. I'll then post after the close my entries and exits on the ones I played. Once again, this isn't an endorsement of any stock, so do your own dd. I may play all or none of these, so keep it in mind.
I already posted my like of NL. I had been time stopped out of autn last week. But it appears to be moving finally, so im taking another few k tomorrow and giving it a 1 week stop again.
BPT I think it's probably good for a point here. I've never traded reits though, so im not sure how they move. Good liquidity though.
MFW- I think it's interesting for some reason. It might be good for a half. Huge volume.
ORB- This one is on my watch list. If volume picks up, I'll enter.
SXT- This one is my favorite. I will watch it for a volume pick up. 16 seems to be support, so I wouldn't be surprised for them to blow the stop and then base there before bouncing.
Im still watching U for the volume pick up before going long. I've been doing about 20-40k shares a day in this one, and I think the specialist is getting onto me, so I might just avoid it, but I think it could be good for a bounce soon.
