An interesting point was raised. If America wants to defend Taiwan it will have to borrow off - only China has enough to lend. The politicians have really made such a mess of the US position. Have the politicians tried looking into the future for the US ? And if so what conclusions have they reached. Let them look into the past. It has happened before.
