But also may come from an older German word. There is a current German verb "klemmen" which means "to wedge." It can also be used in other combinations/compounds to mean "tension." Thus Verkempt (ferklempt, fahrklemt and etc) could mean a "tightness of the heart" as in emotional.
I ever did watch it - but not insofar as to remember that he used the word verklempt in any meaningful context. - Otherwise - thanks for the explanation everyone. I will now use it in my daily speach - if I don't choke on my tounge.
