  1. Brilliant journal, buy1.

    Soybeans (sep thru jan) and really sitting in a flat range here, would you consider it a strangle/breakout opportunity, or is that too random for your style?

    I typically only use strangles as a naked short when the market will stay in between. Right now, Novie Beans look to me to have quite a bit of upside reversal in them. A move above the reaction high of 561.75 would be quite bullish, however I think you could get long now and use a stop well under the reaction low of 536.75.

    Just checking in here. I am staying long the Dec Corn for now. Long Novie Soybeans today at 5.58

    Well, it had to happen (Dec Corn). Nice sized pullback today tbut did not violate the low from Fri. Staying long for now. I need to see more evidence of reversal before I would get out.

    Not getting too excited on the large gap up in Dec Corn this morning just yet. Let's see how it closes. I've seen these days limit up and I've seen them way down as well.

    Note: Gap was just on the intraday charts, not the daily.
