Labels are complex. Blacks are much more "pro-government" than whites yet blacks oppose gay marriage by a 2-1 margin. Women are also MUCH less libertine than men-including abortion rights which routinely are opposed by women in greater numbers than by men. Also, peoples views change depending upon personal experience and circumstance. The pro-pot, pro-whore 20 something libertarian may poll differently as a 40 something father of a daughter. A Friend of mine said something provocative a few days back. "Liberals use sex and drugs to economically enslave tax payers. They tell gays and pot smokers that evil Republicans oppose your life style so your only shot at freedom is to support a political structure that grabs as much of your money as possible. Hence Big Government's best enabler is an electorate strung out and happy to have a dick in their ass."
