What I mean is in reference to Reminiscence of a stock operator, where bucket shops had stale quotes.

 

Ok There are arbitrage opportunities doing it that way.

Anybody have any insight on the big difference in the change for the day on SPY vs ES? I know it is pretty regularly off by a bit, but 1% seems like a decent amount more than usual.

 

SPY closed at 16:00 and ES closed at 16:15. There was a 1% drop in ES after SPY closed yesterday.
