What are you talking about? QE4 will be corporates. The Fed is first in line to buy the new GS perpetuals yielding 25bp over LIBOR.

  2. FED = akin to the fellow who had an apartment on street level, so placed 3 massive locks on his front door but the 2 windows were wide open.

The Fed made a huge mistake: It exhausted the ability to use one of its biggest “tools,” in a bull market.
It should have waited until late in the next bear market to step in, which would have made it appear that the Fed stopped the decline. Now what will it do?

@ 3:15 - 3:33 AND esp. for a glimpse of FED smoking Bombay Black hash down the road to ease the pain, 4:38 - 5:27

  3. Since August 2007, the assets of the Federal Reserve have multiplied from billions$ to $4.3 trillion.
That's more than twice the combined total spent by all 50 state governments in the Union

Lending Remains Far Below Pre-Recession Levels

Even after a five-plus year economic "recovery" -- and with interest rates still near zero -- there's still a reluctance to lend and borrow. This suggests that a deflationary psychology is taking hold.
And despite the September 5.9% jobless figure, labor force participation actually fell even further. The 62.7% rate is below the already decades-low figure posted in August (lowest since 1978).

FED can stop BEAR when it could not stop Bear's 5-yr old toddler in 2008? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

2007-2009 CRASH gave us all the info we need about weakness of FED versus strength of BEAR-cub

June 20th, 2007 – Bernanke: The mortgage debacle “will not affect the economy overall.''

    October 15th, 2007 – Bernanke:
"It is not the responsibility of the Federal Reserve - nor would it be appropriate - to protect lenders and investors from the consequences of their financial decisions."

July 16th, 2008 – Bernanke: On Freddie and Fannie: “They will make it through the storm”, "… in no danger of failing.","…adequately capitalized"
(Only two months later both were nationalized.)
