I thought the fed said inflation was transitory Fed Chair Powell to warn Congress that inflation pressures could last longer than expected PUBLISHED MON, SEP 27 20214:55 PM EDT https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/27/fed...ressures-could-last-longer-than-expected.html
Too many FackingEducatedDummies (worlds#1 employer of PHD Economists) who don't live in the real world.
If there was real inflation, the 10 year would be a lot higher than 1.55%. Something I saw on Bloomberg tv: The taper is somewhat meaningless as $10 billion a month by the Fed means squat if the daily turnover in the bond market is half a trillion. With the taper gone, the next set of boogiemen the Fed will use to keep the markets from bubbling up are inflation, rate hikes and a higher dollar. (Not a fan of the Oxford comma).
I don't try to figure out the economy, I just keep it simple with price action. If it goes up I buy, if it goes down I sell. Like my winning UVXY- if it keeps going up I'll keep on buying more
