This is likely a sell the close buy the Globex open event (Or in Rick’s case buy the close and sell the open, risk 100 points to make 1). I don’t see any reason for equities to fall off a cliff, but it does have to happen eventually. Morning will tell.

Woo chance to use a little margin and buy some more stocks. Dow went red for the year! Rare you can buy stocks at such a discount these days.

Woo hope people bought the dip again. Nothing can keep this market down. See if we go another 15% before any type of pull back to buy again!

Yup only a hundred point dip. Or $5000 for 1 contract of ES. Just a blip on the Fed's, and jasonc's, balance sheet

Have no fear everybody. Get long, be sure to close your eyes and plug your nose

haha even if bullish I wouldn’t say leverage 30 to 1 where a 3% pull back wipes you out. You make it sound like this isn’t a bull market haha

Nobody is mad - just saying that obviously trading isn't as easy as bending over and buying the index. For the love of humanity I hope you're a troll bot or english isn't your first language otherwise you're just plain dumb

  9. Facts:

Since the bottom in 2009 - we've only had 4 corrections exceeding 15 % where the two largest was approximately 20 %.

All of these corrections were followed by higher prices.

This is not my opinion. It's a fact.

Too many people are fixated on the idea of the markets having to break down or the system to collapse. This bias prevents them from seeing the obvious and they ignore evidence to the contrary.

I maintain the belief that for this market to reverse and sustain downwards movement we need to see a specific trigger. For example, the financial crisis was triggered by the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and a banking crisis due to the housing bubble.
