I am not sure what you are referring to here. The pipeline problem is fact, it is similar to the current situation with oil in Canada right now that has no way of leaving the producing region. This is also the exact opposite of peak oil in that there is a huge amount of natural gas but getting it to different regions is causing pricing issues and local shortages.
My concern with buying DGAZ is that once the ETF rolls its position to the march contract the loss is crystallized and it is a new year in nat gas markets. After this winter the futures markets haven'd had a big price increase. Also holding 3x products for multiple days causes significant decay when the asset is volatile.
Yes we know about how these ETFs decay, it's a fact, however if you can cost average in you can fight the decay ...I'm doing that with DGAZ now.
Again without facebook amazon netflix apple and google the market is completely worthless. 2600 on s$p here we come...bear market in 2019!!!!!
And there you have....proof in the pudding.....market has no where to go but DOWN. Take your 10 year old bull market profits and wait for the collapse. You'll be able to buy everything at half off!!! Just think of it as a huge black Friday discount sale ... Investors' favorite trade is officially dead as each member of tech's 'FAANG' is in a bear market Each of the five 'FAANG' stocks slipped into a bear market during Monday trading. Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google-parent Alphabet have fallen steadily over the last 6 weeks. Wall Street defines a bear market as a fall of 20 percent or more from a stock's 52-week high. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/19/every-faang-stock-is-now-in-a-bear-market.html
Utilities are still making new highs. If you look at the prior big bull markets, when the utes don't confirm the new highs in the overall market, then it's over. This is just a P/E correction. If you want a true collapse, the big four: industrial prod., income, retail sales & employment, would have to start turning south.
I wouldn't take a lot of the posts in here too seriously lol though I am now long so hope you are right!
In my opinion, contrarians should be buying beaten down Canadian energy companies not triple short etfs against trend ( e.g. BNP on the TSX ).
