I remember in 2000 when out of the blue Microsoft warned. Netflix reports Monday. If any of the high flyers what they call the FANG stocks warns or misses. It will get ugly fast. Netflix was weak today, bank stocks are not showing any relative strength. Stay tuned!
Amazon added $50 billion market cap in 5 days! In one week $50 billion!!! Is this due to that prime day sale they are having next week???? This company can literally do no wrong.... Eventually law of large numbers will engulf amazon....if amazon runs up another 50% next year that would put a value of approximately $1.3 -$1.4 trillion!!!! I just can't see a company sustaining such a huge market cap of such great scale.....I think people are just buying stocks like amazon because of the euphoria behind the trade and the price, they feel that amazon can literally do nothing wrong...this stock is literally priced to absolute perfection, earnings out next month have to be pristine in order to keep this stock up and running, any little drawback and down it goes....
Netflix is the aol of 1999-2000 Only moving on subs......once subs slow this company is going to collapse.....the amount they are paying for content is insane....I don't have netflix but the amount of content that is out there between all these companies is mind blowing...how one individual can keep up with thousands of programs is beyond me......Netflix is spending money like they are printing it, they need to be careful. This may hurt them moving forward in the next few years....too much competition in this sector!
No one believes any of these high flying priced to perfection stocks can do wrong....it's an extremely crowded trade....everyone knows these stocks cannot keep rising 50-100% a year, but they are...the funny thing is that if they were to fall 50% say next year people would be crying like little bitches, yet historically these stocks would still be up hundreds and even thousands of percent going back 5-10 years ago!!!!!!!! So even a 50% shave and these stocks would still be up!!!
Looking for 5.5 million subs... Last quarter they did 7.4!!!!! Analysts might be low balling subs again! Is the binge over for Netflix stock? By Paul R. La Monica July 12, 2018: 2:14 PM ET https://money.cnn.com/2018/07/12/investing/netflix-stock-earnings/index.html
