All gaps get filled, and just like new highs happen eventually, it is only a matter of the timing:

Amazon adding $15+ billion in market capitalization today

Imagine that....amazon adding more market cap than the value of Kohl's and Wendy's combined!!!

Thats the value of some well know companies

    AMD market cap $14.42 BILLION

    Macy's $12.25 BILLION

    Sketchers $4.7 BILLION

    Chipotle $12.63 BILLION

    Kohl's $12.5 BILLION

    Alcoa $9 BILLION

    Wendy's $4 BILLION

Meanwhile net income in latest quarter was $1.6 billion or roughly a little under $18 million a day.

So mkt cap up $18 bil vs net inc $18 mil in a day. Nothing out of whack there. Nooooooooooo not at all.

    "It's a growth story" haha.

This growth story is just a story, I think it's the excuse to keep the amazon bull going....how long investors an analysts can keep it that way is anyone's guess...

There's good breadth on the 3 indexes, I don't know what charts you're (not) looking at.

FWIW, there are a ton of unfilled gaps out there in the ether. Some very far down there. If your contention is that all gaps get filled, I hope to have long passed away before that happens. There is no evidence for your belief.

Give it a study. It sounds like you should go short.

I'll start you out... and this is far from isolated. Start 11/28/11 and start counting. There are a bunch w/in the 2 months that follows. Eyeballing, I see 5 before mid Jan '12. (11/28, 12/20, 12/29, 1/3, 1/10). There are more around this time frame. That's not to say the market won't go back and fill these in, but I'm not placing my trades based on them filling.

I quickly see 4 in 2009. There are ones in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. That’s 5 consecutive years. Where’s your evidence they all get filled?
