    Worst week in 2 years???
Think about that....this drop still looks like a tiny blip on a 10 year chart, I'm not going to get excited until the Dow drops a few thousand points....

Dow falls 450 points as interest rates shoot higher, stocks head for worst week in 2 years

    • The major indexes were on track for their worst weekly performance in two years.
    • The benchmark 10-year yield rose to 2.85 percent.

  5. Here's a way to look at it. Man falls down a flight of stairs chances are he can get back up. Man falls out of a three story building he will need some time to recover. This weeks drop was a second story drop.

Most stocks and ETFs are still up 5-25% for 2018 even after this tiny 2% drop today...lots of room to fall....

    Overnight

I still have my longs in place but am down a combined ~1,200 points between the two YMs. I am starting to lose the time edge now though on the March YM, as we have only 6 weeks for it to come back some. Not to mention, I went long on a March NQ and that's down about 160 points. Those March entries may bite hard this quarter.

It is interesting when put into perspective. I remember Jan 2016, it was when China was playing hanky-panky and it rattled the shit out of everyone. It didn't take long to get back to where the fall started (About a month?), but is this time different because of the bond yields and possible rate hike which now seems very likely?

Hmm, only time will tell of course.

P.S. If I was flat, this is a hell of a time to go long! Too bad I was long at the top AGAIN! lol, and the circle keeps turning.
