Risk can be controlled by size of the position rather than using stops. These guys here have v small positions on...zero leverage...if anything probably underleveraged.
Yeah, I only trade small. I think some of you make in a trade what I plan to make in a month, but it's all good. If I can make like 1000 USD per week, that'd be enough for me forever to be honest. Although I don't think all of us spreadbetters trade small. Can't think if it was Pauk or someone else, but they mentioned they used to spreadbet £120 per point on teh Dow (so probably bigger size now). I'm guessing that's fairly big size in terms of contracts? I don't know tbh.
Hmm... Why is this funny? A weak currency is good for indebted economies like the US. The value of debt (more than $18 trillion now) remaining the same (which is untrue because the US debt grows all the time and most likely will never be paid off), a weak dollar is good for business. Which is not the case in countries like Lichtenstein, of course. Lichtenstein having zero debt, a strong Franc is highly desirable for its business, which doesn't breathe on debt like China's or USA's ones.
