  2. I've had the price discussion with 2 different posters now.
My prices appear to be higher than everyone elses. (some of the other UK posters have confirmed how different brokers use different feeds or whatever)
I got in this last trade at 2851 on my prices, but I think it would be like 2848 on your platform
Maybe from now on i'll use a different platform when I quote numbers so that it's easier

I have accounts with all of the popular UK spreadbet brokers -CMC and GKFX are currently 2846 to buy - your broker (fxpro?) is current 2851
Don''t worry about it,. They all move the same, tick for tick
All that matter is that you get the direction right (that's the easy bit about the SPX! :))

most UK retail traders trade using spreadbet firms/bucket shops.
Sometimes even when trading rather large size due to there being no tax on winnings. I've traded as high as £130 per point on the Dow Jones using CMC back in the day, although I also have futures accounts nowadays
Some firms seem to stick closer to the futures prices than others, not that it really matters, tbh.

Another historical record... everyone is becoming a millionaire......all these millionaire accounts should be greedy and should start winding down positions especially since this is a bull market that's almost a decade old!!!

Becoming a 401(k) millionaire doesn't mean you're ready for retirement
    • The number of Fidelity 401(k) accounts with a balance of $1 million or more jumped to 133,000 in the third quarter of 2017, up from just 89,000 a year earlier.
    • While getting to a million is great, you still need to consider your own personal retirement needs and circumstances.
