From April 19, 2009 : Apparently, you were the fool. And you haven't learned a thing from it. Here's the thing, when someone like you is completely wrong about so much for 7 years, why on earth do you think your opinion carries any weight at all ? If this was 1987, your idea that all bull markets will end on a very bad note wouldn't have worked out very well for you, because you'd have missed out on 14 more years of a bull with the best years yet to come. So themes are useless. You can repeat that shit a thousand times but it means nothing.
We're supposedly entering tighter monetary conditions cycle... The crack cocaine is being pulled. It's different from QE phase we went through, which led to the recent Bull Market
Ahhh you keep forgetting about how the fed has created this false impression of an economic turnaround... You believe that the last 7 year+ bull market has magically happened on its own due to great economic expansion.... You completely fail to realize that every single bit of this rally in stocks is because of the fed and the trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars they pumped into the system....why do you continue to overlook that. Without the fed pumping trillions of worthless dollars into this economy the market would probably be at 1987 levels.....I have plenty of time to wait it out ...this economy and market is more worthless than what it appears to be....its what magicians call an illusion....
agree....one basic tenet I follow is to buy when they are the most hated. And...on that same note, regarding the Jan 2016 swoon downward of the S&P. It almost seems that it was allowed to happen only to: A) offer stocks at bargain basement prices (buy when they are most hated) B) offer an excuse for the fed to place the market as its prime mandate (and to justify to the markets how important the Fed) and because of B) the S&P has zero risk but yet risk premiums are there to be made. Today I just place stop limits (just under 2000 on the SPX) and buy once it looks really ugly. Take profits around 2100. The Fed will find a way to keep propping the market....cuz they have sooo many tools (lying, printing, rate manipulations, open market operations in bond, equity, crude, $USD and gold markets, collaborations with every other CB in the world and lately they seem to be using all of the above daily. When long US equities, its like having the many different World Mafias as your best friend (Yes, the Fed would kill someone in minutes if they thought it would help prop the markets). Shorting is a crap shoot because whenever the fed feels that markets need to offer a glimpse of danger and/or look cheap again to buyers, SPX will make its fall within hours (at the most 2 days) and be a buy again. I'd rather just buy once it falls. The upward moves that follow will cover weeks and weeks of upward gains. again, as you said above, VRX looks to be offering up weeks and weeks of upward gains here as well. Its actually a better buy that the SPX or Crude right now as the SPX/Crude could be a little toppy now.
Everything the Federal Reserve said it was waiting for....like inflation and unemployment have all been met. Is anyone surprised that they still continue to keep rates at all time lows. I'm not they are so full of lies and corruption. I hope and pray Trump wins and cleans that house up. It's a complete joke.
End of quarter rally, same shit over and over. The fed meeting contract experiation end of Q1 all happen togather. It's all planned row the markets up and down keep the exchanges in business, keep Wall Street happy.....wash rinse repeat over and over. Mom and pop open the quartly statements everything looks ok, it's not going down so all is well or so it seems.
