As long as trend is up there will be demand, it's as simple as that. Fundamentals shmandamentals.

  2. 22 years in a row they have held the record for the most patents per year...one day a few of those patents will come to save their revenue streams lol.

Last I read, I think they were one of the top places doing research on graphene computer chips. I might be wrong on that, but if they come up with a way to do that on a large scale, I'm sure there stock will be making new highs in no time. All speculation of course, but just a comment on their many patents.

  4. I don't follow it, but you could probably get a good idea just by the amount of share buybacks...

  5. yea thats what is really amazing.... poor earnings everywhere (Morgan Stanley just missed hard) and the spx still holding incredibly strong.

Kommissar's spread idea is the only thing I can think of to scale in for a longer term play

  6. I literally left today with the Russell 2000 collapsing, figured I'd get back and it would still be holding somewhere down there...it was basically a picture perfect re-test of the highs and fail and was cruising with some momentum...it looks like it put in its low literally the moment I left and rallied the rest of the day...a few more instances of that stuff and I might start sounding like Rickshaw..lol

  7. OK, since Rickshaw not around, I will try and get a smile :)

  8. It's back to being a "Rickshaw market". VIX under 15, futures drift higher OR when not drifting higher, find sudden sharp "buy em ugly" support in the middle of the day..broken off downside patterns gallore, etc...Funny how the "market" truly gamed the FOMC...end of the world scenarios if rates raised, now it's back to serenity regardless of the backdrop...can only laugh...

  9. In the pic above...

We do realize that Rickshaw is pulling a heaver and heaver load as the market creeps ever higher and that the strain of all that dumb money may one day cause a loss of footing and tragic fall.....
