Nobody trading FTSE or DAX this am? Were still in bullish trend there and japan seems. Question for anyone out there: When the US markets revert to "bad news is good news" does that change the dynamic of low US dollar = higher equities higher crude = higher equities because right now it all seems reversed?
1990-2000 is definitely going to be a supply zone... if it rips up to 2020-2030 I'll be surprised. It's definitely possible, but my perception is that this is the beginning of trap the bulls. I also expect a bunch of chop/consolidation and annoying trading up here.
Lower dollar = higher equities should have been the case all along, a strong dollar is a headwind for US large caps with operations/sales overseas, it has never been positive for stocks. The pumpers needed a story to sell to the masses so I think the rhetoric changed somewhere along the way and the lemmings were made to believe that a strong dollar is good for stocks.
Yea I think SPX 1984 - 2021 is likely to be a "chop zone" with plenty of head fakes, the market is not going to make it easy for anyone who is going long or short here.
