Screaming about prices going up in a bull market is so patently ridiculous... what next? The pope is catholic? sex is fun? Stop embarrassing yourselves, the whole world knows it is a bull run, screaming about it just makes you look as if this is the first time you managed to get it right
Housing stats PLUNGE! Who cares??? Market goes up more! Former APPLE executives told Jobs about backdating options...WHO CARES???? Market goes up even more! Broker calls and says "Handsome, everything is going up like you said. But what should I do now? And I said "Didn't I tell you to BUY, BUY, BUY!!!!? and he said "Yes but do you want me to KEEP BUYING" I mean how much higher can this go?" And I said, "Just keep hitting the BUY button in your office for my account and don't stop until I tell you and stop calling me waking me from my nap cause this is like FREE MONEY...Easier than taking candy from a baby!...." This market is like how Crazy Eddie was!. These prices are fuckin INSANE but who cares? HaHaHaHa LOL LOL LOL HaHa Market keeps going up=EASY MONEY!!!! Yee Haw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Handsome, LOL You are the only guy who quotes himself in his own posts. I have lost $25k being short in two months. I have actually lost money 19 consecutive days . Someone in my office says you would not just take 2 to the 19th power to figure the odds of this. He says it's not a 50% chance on any given day. I say otherwise. What does everyone think? If it is a 50% chance of up or down, i managed to hit a 131000 to 1 shot, only in reverse!
I'll quote you now..HeHe Win your money back. And Hurry up about it. Cause ( sing along) We Are The Champions We Are The Champions Of The World!!!!!!!! Yee HaWwwwwww
your logic and math is flawed you assume a gaussian distribution the market is not random. it is controlled by aggregate traders' action. and prices are not evenly distributed across a "normal curve" if you are going to trade, it pays to understand the math and probabilities behind price action this has been commented on ad nauseum by mathemeticians and some very good articles have been written on this. clearly, by your erroneous conclusion - you don't
Whitster, Thanks for your comments about the distribution of prices. I will ruminate on this and get back to you with some questions, but it seems that the number of up days v. down days would also not be evenly distributed. Funny, I never needed to know this to make millions of dollars in the area of trading in which I participate ( not the gambling on SPY) , but I will grant that you are correct. I like knowing things like that.
Ahhh, but this thread doesn't hate you! To prove that, I will now make a statement never heard before in trading circles. A statement I will make that is so powerful it will make millionaire's out of ordinary traders. A statement that I will now share with you and everyone else. And the statement is: <b>"The Trend Is Your Friend"</b> Yee Haw!!
Thanks for sharing that powerful statement of yours. You one amazing mo-fo Handsome. <b>The trend is me friend.</b> I like that Handsome. I never hear that statment never before in me life. You da man Handsome! YaYa or is it Yee Haw!
