  1. I also wonder, did Szeven or Lescor have any mentors? I really doubt this although it would be great to hear from these 2 legends.

  2. I worked at swifttrade, so there was an entire office of traders when I started. We got our strategy from spying on riskware and then copying it. Back when I first started there was a thing called the "United Exchange" that linked Hamilton, Kelowna, Calgary, Ottawa, and Victoria, so that every branch could see what every other branch was doing. First Ottawa stole from Hamilton, then we stole from Ottawa, and the game was on. mnx was the innovator and without him I probably wouldnt have made it.

  4. Thank you Szeven.
We have few traders at the office and none is experienced. Experienced is coming over form Swift on April 1.
No one to spy upon :)
We are probably 6 guys and even floor manager is learning to trade along with us.
I think he should do everything to bring experienced successful guys to our office even if he has to pay them way more that industry average.
I am trying to figure it myslef with some progress but I will be sure sitting next to that experienced guy as soon as he is in :)

  5. Neveralone, why do not you go back to the firm you have been with? Just do what they want and develop as a trader.
After all, if you can make money trading C why not?

    This is business after all.
At least you are not undercapitalized and you are progressing.

  6. Shiko, I left that place.
2nd of all I wasnt making money on Citi, only on really high volume days.
3rd of all they were focused on grey box trading and some other automated system that made my account go from up a few hundred , to down 4 digits. Its not the way to make money in the long run.

  7. Did you trade your own money there???
I mean did you put your own money?
Although it is hard to trade without experinced guys so far, but the giood part that we have very few limitations.
I take Title trading strategies from their theory Volume I & II, add my own thoughts and trade this way. make recearch on weekends. I try to keep things very simple and working on reducing my losses now.
Do you have Swift Trade or Title trading over there?

I have the list of prop firms somewhere.
I will find it and PM to you.

  8. Yeah I put up a lil of my own capital, but their focus was automated and we were the test dummies for it, I lost almost 3k on their automated system since it still is in the beginning experimental phases.

  9. I understand why you left.
I had no idea and you did not mention you put your own money and they forced you to trade whatever they wanted.
But in the beginning you mentione dthat you could trade any stock up to $20.
