House Majority Leader Eric Cantor fired off a stark warning to Democrats that the GOP “will not grant their request for a debt limit increase” without major spending cuts or budget process reforms.

Cantor says he’s ready to plunge the nation into default if the GOP’s demands are not met. People close to Cantor say that he hopes to make clear that small concessions from Democrats, including President Barack Obama, will not be enough to deliver the GOP on a debt increase.

I simply don't believe it. Boehner sought to deceive his own party in the last deal. I don't believe for a second that the republicans would do anything difficult in order to cut spending.

The US government is addicted to spending other people's money and nothing short of __________ is going to change that.

Nope. The debt ceiling will be raised and republicans will do virtually nothing to significantly decrease spending.

    The End.

  4. Blah, blah, blah. The bought and paid for political hacks won't do shit that the banks/multi-nationals don't tell them to do, and the banks will stay open whatever the cost.

  5. Thats like a 13 yr old school girl who refuses to eat her food just because her friend told her she is fat.

Cantor should tell the nation specifically where and how the GOP will make those major cuts , and then let the people decide whether or not he is just a bag of hot air.

Well, we should know soon if Cantor is going to grow a pair. He's talking tough. They need to forget about trying to save their jobs and concentrate on saving the country.

Lol, scat, politicians have always been that way. I remember my grandparents would complain about it.

  10. You have to hope at least some of them are paying attention to this sinking dollar. Is Obama delusional enough to believe that if Oil heads towards $200 and gas costs $7-$8 per gallon that he will have a prayer in hell?

Hate to break it to the Obama fanboys, but the main reason he was elected was the repudiation of Bush. If this dollar weakness continues for another 14-15 months, even some of the biggest morons will cast another repudiation vote. It's rather simple.
