GOP Leaders Remind Voters the Economy Does Better Under Democrats

  1. Those comments from your libtard website are about a totally different issue and are nothing more than another lame attempt to lie your way out of what the debate was originally about.

Here's the issue and here's the beat down I gave you.

Too bad Presidents get all the credit/blame for deficits because its the Congress that controls spending.

And the only time we've run a surplus, was with a Republican controlled Congress.

By the way, here are some interesting numbers:

The Republican-controlled Congress, from FY 1996-2007, ran a cumulative deficit of $1.2 trillion over twelve years. The Democrat-controlled Congress, over the FY 2008-2010 period, will run up $3.2 trillion of deficits in three years

The Democrat controlled Congress ran up a higher deficit in FY 2009 ($1.42 trillion) than the cumulative total for the twelve years of Republican control from FY 1996-FY 2007 ($1.25 trillion). The FY 2010 deficit ($1.349 trillion, latest projection) is also on pace to exceed the cumulative deficit total under twelve years of
    Republican control.

In the 12 years of Republican control of the Congress, the deficit averaged $104 billion a year. In the first three years of Democrat control (including the most recent CBO projection for FY 2010), it will average $1.07 trillion.

In FY 2009 and FY 2010, a Democrat-controlled Congress will run (on average) monthly deficits that exceed the annual deficits under the Republican-controlled Congresses.

  7. Those numbers are from Obama's budget. I gave you a link to the budget and told you where in the budget to find them. Your persistent obfuscation and lying in the face of that shows you're even less than a moron... it shows that you're a pathetic and desperate liar and you'll do anything to forward your liberal socialist welfare state agenda. Just like the MSM and way too many of your fellow libtards.

In the few decades I've been around I've come to the unscientific conclusion that the economy seems to do better when the executive and legislative branches are not controlled by the same party.

  9. You are nothing but a typical neocon hypocrite, not even a regular Con believes that Obama is going to do a stimulus and a bailout EVERY year. Someone stupid enough to believe that from Neocon sites promoting warmongering is definitely the audience of stupid they are targetting.

  10. Cripes!! Those numbers look bad.

On the past/current budget numbers - does it include or exclude financing the wars with the "supplementals" during 2003 - 2008? Because that was kind off "off-balance-sheet" that is now "on". Either way, looks nasty.
