  1. ha ha ha you think they tell their shareholders in a conference call what is about to happen-you are a bigger fool than i thought
i listened to endless conference calls of mortgage companies selling kool-aid all the way to bankruptcy!
i am not saying bk for google
i am saying single digit P/E's for all companies before a bottom
this is not a normal market or normal market conditions-this is a suckers rally!
all cable providers know when things get tight people stop extra spending -one is
    INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS
when people turn off their computers because they are poor and disgusted-who is going to spend money on advertising to a few million people who can afford internet-there is a sh1tstorm in derivatives and credit cards that is set to unwind-until that happens NO real BOTTOM!

Search advertising is immune to recession and most effective advertising there is. It is still on track to grow to $20B by 2012 from just over $10B.

Goog's dominance of search advertising is not even challenged never mind threatened.

  5. With a PE of 22.39 it's a bit overvalued.

There are many other companies with better fundamentals around.
