I necroed this thread for laughs. Stock trader thought Google would go to 600 soon by soon he meant end of 2010. He said it was an easy target of 700 for 2009 which STILL has not been reached in 2011. If he only said Apple... Apple has been the darling of IT companies as of late

 

google, apple, yahoo, baidu all doing decent!

 

ok volume on selling on both daily and weekly charts, daily chart has some gaps to fill, and weekly looks like it could fall to the 50ema without too much problem, without the rest of the market rallying hard, anyone else looking at the short side?

 

With Android, a revolution in Apps, and a very long term cup and handle formation, it looks to me like a breakout above 630 or so would be buyable. Not that I would take the trade because it is not my style and I will stick with what I know. Maybe the move in January would be considered a failed breakout, and so now the bias is down?

not only hit first target of 580ish but blew right through it, working away as expected

 

I suppose it is not a novlety, everyone knows that Google is the best, so its marketplace will keep rising and rising. That is natural.
