It was still pretty creepy, resolved or not. A browser collecting information on everything you do. Not like you can just delete cookies, it is one giant cookie. An eyeball looking back at you. I tried it out, doesn't come close to Firefox yet. I have no doubt one day it will though.
Areed... but it turns out that the browser never actually did that, it was just assumed that it did that based on how the EULA read. I also looked through the source code and didn't find any code that actually "phoned home." It appears that the whole this was just a misunderstanding.
You guys do know that Google Chrome is sending all URLs you visited to Google ? Who cares about privacy ? At least if you don't change the default settings.
Tested it about 10 minutes. It sux and it's slow. No option whatsoever. Going to still with firefox. Give it another 2 or 3 years and see what happen.
After using it for a while now, it still has a bunch of bugs it needs to work out. I guess thats expected with the Beta version. It still blows away any browser in the speed category though.
