Couldn't they come up with a stupider name? They should have asked themselves: What is a good name for a website?

This is a very interesting and exciting technology.
Will this hurt googles advertising revenue?

  5. google search engine: it searches and relays content generated by people on the web. itself doesn't create content (well, it does a bit, quite minimal).
While ChatGPT bot, on other hand, it can generate content by re-gurgitating the data & knowledge that it has accumulated and trained, but itself can't think to create new content. For example, if one tells the bot to write a program that generates series of numbers, so far it'd use the existing algo's to write the program(s) for you. it seems at the present time, itself can't invent to come up with new algo. perhaps, as time goes on, it'd be trained and designed better to have this capability. then it'd have ability for critical thinking, and creativity, emotion, personality.
presently, I think the bot would have the personalities of those who train it or feed it with information and data, its characters would reflect the personalities of those who create it, so chances are the bot would have a nerdy personality.:). What if someone who has the personality or psychological makeup that are similar Jefferey Dahmer, would it be good? or it's trained by someone who has great personality similar to Terry Bradshaw, then it'd be great, but it could be unreal and not representative. :)...

  6. i suspect ChatGPT is gathering information and re-training with the Users input.
That is, using the questions posed it to train itself on "human thinking".

though the CEO claims "no memory" I doubt that very much. It is probably another lie in a half-truth. That is the rolled-out version may not have memory but that doesn't mean it isn't collecting all the user interaction as a new training set.
