60% of googles rev is from adds on search & youtube. (Maybe even browser's search alone) ,,You get what you ask for" Just few days ago i was looking for one video game in youtube & algorithm just flooded my search with non relevant things. And it was absolutely non relevant. Like things that i were watching 6~ months ago, and the suggestion was, - ,,Watch again" Damn. They were sitting on the throne for too long. Forgot what competition was like.
I think there is in google settings something you can tick to stop all that tracking. The settings these days are more difficult to navigate than in earlier days. Some years ago I spent time going through all the google settings and I don't suffer from that advert stuff or youtube wanting me to watch favorite subjects. But the settings in google are definitely no longer designed to be user friendly.
I have been using ChatGPT for various projects and it is NICE. Very easy to use. It quickly performs tasks that would take me hours/days to complete. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend it.
chapgpt has flaws. i asked it how long it would theoretically take to drive to mars doing 65 mph at mars average distance to earth. it came back with 1000 years. i responded with no, its about 154 years. then it responded with, yes you're right my mistake.
I used to travel with van from Amsterdam to East Europe. 20 - 40 hours journey. Depending on weather, traffic etc. Once one passenger asked the driver : ,,Do you know the time of our arrival ?" Driver, having heard this question for 3000 times, very calmly and politely : ,,Yes, 5 mins before the midnight" Moral of the story, - not saying that your question was stupid, but, sometimes, people give stupid answers to stupid questions. Don't know if that's the case, but maybe, it did so ? Who knows.
It does have some flaws but it is in beta. I noticed that it is not good at certain math calculations, but to ask questions just to stump it seems futile. You would get better use if you ask it to perform tasks that you need done.
