  2. Would have been a better trade to short your recommendation, it went straight down.

  3. If you think only one person on earth made money shorting Google, you're dumber than I thought. And that would actually be something quite amazing.

  4. I have my play-by-play on here about my raping of GOOG earlier this year on the short-side. I'll bump the thread "GOOG Suckers" as a refresher for the OP.

yea, that was some thread, I remember a few laughing at me when I said it was going to drop back below $500, they thought google was going to $1000, what fools.....even if google goes back to all time highs it will be totally overvalued. Stock isnt worth anything more than $250-$300.

  8. did you short 50 shares? only 10% of your total account?

The duration of google's 300 point selloff was very brief. You would have had to have very good timing to short it and make moeny. It is now only off 158 points so unless you shorted in the final month of the rally you lost money if you didn't cover.

Not like crox where it goes lower and lower without any rebound.

  9. Are you talking to me? If you recall, I stated anything over 700 was a good short...

I was short and had a cost average of 727 and covered just under 560.

  10. If you shorted in the 700's, covered and made money good job. Nothing wrong with making money. You success story though is an exception. The yahoo message boards tell another story...
