  1. DJ Google CFO: Growth Slowing, And Now Largely Organic

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Google Inc. (GOOG) Chief Executive George Reyes said the Internet giant's growth is slowing due to the "law of large numbers."
The company's 18-month effort to boost search monetization by tweaking the advertising system has realized most of the gains possible. Now growth is being driven mainly by organic factors, like query traffic growth, which he called substantial.
"We're going to have to find other ways to monetize the business," Reyes said, speaking at a Merrill Lynch investor conference Tuesday.

  7. He single-handedly tanked this session:

Nasdaq comp. is headed toward hell and the DIA is following suit - profit taking for all.

Someone needs to write this guy's speeches.

Would it have been better that he kept slowing growth issues to himself? If you are a trader, this has been a great day! I really don't feel so bad for the investors.. or the CFO.
