two tidbits worth noting. 1) in todays conf call goog CEO mentioned casually that "search clicks were flat". then during the Q&A an analyst asked him about the deccelerating search clicks, and the ceo took the question like a hot potato and passed it to one of his VPs to answer....the answer was weak, he blamed it on "seasonality" - but as long as goog has been public and reported its numbers, there has NEVER been a QoQ decceleration of search clicks. 2) this one is very interesting. http://www.technologyevangelist.com/2007/07/yahoo_chipping_away.html http://tinyurl.com/27zvp7 i'm long yhoo and have no current position in goog (used to be long but sold earlier this year)
