Trendfader you may be the biggest loser on this message board! If you read his journal, he pays the same commission whether he has 15,000 shares or 1000 shares. Get a life!
The boss will still make more $ if he trades more shares per order... via rebates, partial fills, and by him having to scale different orders more often... Please understand the truth as to how these prop shops work. So i am not so stupid after all.. lol
The reason I asked had nothing to do with comission. It is harder to relate to bigger size, and harder to endure losses. With a smaller size I wouldnt be so mentally challenged at least, and make more rational decitions. ORM
The bigger size I trade the more comfortable I feel. I can get long 18,000 shares of NT or LU and be alright. I can trade a lot of size because management feels that I can handle it. Which I can. Unfortunately, I'm in a big slump right now. The stocks that I normally traded just aren't in play right now. It seems as though the past couple of months has been difficult to trade these stocks.
Hey guys! Well, I feel good, I'm well rested and I'm excited to see ELN down almost $4. I've traded ELN plenty of times before and I'm hoping to see some good action in it today. In the meantime I'll be concentrating on ORCL, NT, ELN, and HPQ. Well, I have a meeting this morning, so I'm off.... Good Trading!
Well a shitty day..... It seems as though I can't have a winning day..... I lost $117 and spent about $75 losing it. That puts me down for a loss of $1200 for the month. I guess it could have been worse. I had 16 buy executions, 12 sell executions, and 48,800 shares traded. Tomorrow we will have our new lower commissions. Tomorrow will be a better day!
