  2. GoodPunk, I use MACD. I would recommend you not take any trade signals using it until you are comfortable. Also, check out MACD divergences. Many people find them to be the only usefull part of MACD.

  4. I'll take your advice!

I didn't really have a good day. NT was a game of cat and mouse today. I just could catch the mouse.

I made $25 and spent $35 making it. I had 7 buy executions, 8 sell executions, and 38,800 shares traded.

You know, it's amazing how NT trades sometimes. Well, I can't win everyday.

Monday is the last trading day of the month. Monday determines how much I'm actually gonna take home for the month. As it stands now I've only made $140 for the month.

  5. Good morning!

Alright. So today is the last trading day for the month. I'm a little concerned about protecting the tiny profit that I have this month so I'll be looking for conservative low risk trades today.

    Good Trading!

  6. I had a good day!

I made $444 and spent $80 making it. NT was kicking ass today! I'm glad that I was able to end the month on a good note. Hopefully that good energy will carry on into March!

I had 16 buy executions, 17 sell executions, and 161,600 shares traded.

The first member of my team started today. I personally know the guy and think that he will make a great trader. Wish us luck!

Tomorrow will be a better day!

  7. Good Morning!

Well, as some of you know, the northeast was hit with a massive snow storm. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. About 8 inches fell in Jersey City/New York City but by the time I woke up streets were plowed and sidewalks shoveled.

I've decided that in the future I'm going to contribute more time to my trading. I normally get here at about 8:45am and catch up on some research. Lately I've been getting here closer to 8:30 but I think I should be getting here closer to 8am.

    Good trading!

  8. Well, it was a roller coaster day. Not good though. I was a victim of my own stupidity. I ended up taking a $160 loss on 16,000 shares because OF A FUCKING KEYBOARD ERROR!!!!!! I HATE KEYBOARDS!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHAHAHASHAHAHAHASHAHASHAAH

But I'm not mad...... So, I was down $292 at about 12:45pm. I couldn't help but think, "I've been in this situation before." Many times before. So I staged one of my famous comebacks. I just wish that I didn't have to make comebacks. So I've earned the name "The Comeback Kid." Sucks, doesn't it? But I must say that it is motivating when I'm down.

I made $58 and spent ABOUT $180 making it. I have 38 buy executions, 40 sell executions, and traded more shares than I could ever imagine. That's 381,400 shares traded.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

  9. Good Morning!

My net loss yesterday was $125. Not bad considering it could have been much worse. At the end of the day when I post how much I've made or loss it is simpy and estimate of the fees I have paid. I know exactly what I have made, how much I've paid in commissions, and depending on how many shares I've traded I estimate how much I'm being charged in SEC fees and crap like that. I hope that clears up a lot for some.

So currently I wake up at 7am. I've been contemplating getting up earlier so that I can spend more time concentrating on trading. Basically, so that I can show up, get caught up on the overnight and morning, read my book (Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John J. Murphy), and have a clear mind. As of late I've been getting here at 8:45am and just catching up on the overnight and morning. I usually read my book on the way here (bus and subway) and on the way home. I think that this isn't enough. I need more time in the morning because in the afternoon I hit the gym and I'm looking to relax and play some video games at home.

So I have a question for all of you in internet land. What does your trading "routine" look like?
