Today was really shitty. I went to the expo this morning so I wasn't expecting to make much today, but I was hoping for a little more action. I made $124 and spent $75 making it. So my net is ABOUT $49. I had 15 buy executions, 16 sell executions, and 61,800 shares traded. Good Trading!
Well, nothing new to "report." I feel good and I'm ready to make some money. Yesterday I was contemplating posting an ad on www.craigslist.org to recieve some resumes for interested candidates. But I didn't because it costs $25. I'm surprised that the site has no mention of it costing money to post a help wanted ad. If anybody has any experience hiring people to start a group then please PM me. Good Trading!
NT FUCKIN SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I needed to get that out. I don't know what it is or what's going on with this stock lately, but it seems that screwing my dead grandmother would yield better movement. Not that NT has 40 cent trading ranges, but it normally trades 24-26 million shares a day. Lately it's barely broken 10 million. I made 3 trades in NT all day and they were all flats. In the mean time I'm overtrading TXN and pissing on myself. I love trading, but these past couple of weeks have made me want to ram my head through people. I wish I could go to the floor of the NYSE (which I can), and knockout all the specialists, floor traders, clerks, and anybody else there. Then I would take a bat, beat down all the trading posts and my head. I'm to blame for my lack of profits. But that's okay. Tomorrow will be a better day! I made $37 and spent $90 making it. That gives me a net loss of ABOUT $53. I had 15 buy executions, 21 sell executions, and 79,400 shares traded. I'm a fuckin asshole.
Good morning! This morning went rather smoothly. I felt a little wierd after waking up this morning but I think that's just because I was tired. Ha! Last night I was up watching "The Animatrix." It's a DVD with 9 short films based on the Matrix franchise. I have to say it's very interesting. So if you get the opportunity to check it out, do so. Well, it's on. This week has been the slowest week this year. Hopefully it'll get better today. Good Trading!
A shitty day. I didn't even get a trade off in NT. That stock has been printing horribly lately. I lost $48 and spent about $110 losing it. That makes my net loss $158. That brings my loss over the past two weeks to $1000. What the hell is happening to me?
How much longer are you planning on trading NT? Considering that its not performing upto your expectations.
Its called a drawdown - it happens to ALL of us who trade. It is almost unavoidable. Learn to deal with it without demoralizing yourself or without changing your method (given that it has historical relevance.) Make 'em pretty, Chris
NT is my bread and butter. I don't trade LU all that often, but I can see that that stock isn't trading as much as it used to. So I'll always try to trade it. Perhaps the way its trading is part of a bear consolidation pattern where volume dries up before a break out. I've noticed that since October to now the volume has slowly tapered off. Now it's volume is so low that it's barely tradeable. I'm sure that this is a phase that the stock is going through. I have been trading HPQ, TXN, Q, MOT, EMC, NOK, LSI, LOUD, CNXT, WIN lately. But it's not scalping. So this new style of momentum trading will take some time to get used to.
Thanks Chris. I know sometimes I can rant about how much I suck balls but in the end I find it easier to accept my loss and move on. I just can't help but notice that lately, I can't get on the right side of the market. Perhaps I'm just over trading or getting shaken out to quickly. I'll figure out.
