Would you be calling out attention to your predicted range if you were WRONG ABOUT IT?

I don't believe you. I'd rather see you back into your averaging-down-into-losers method, was more exciting to watch.

I wish this was true but eventually vol will die and ranges will constrict. Hopefully not to the single digits

Awful year for stocks & bonds along with a dementia patient puppet president. Enjoy the decline!

Ofcourse they will eventually. Just not single digits.
0.5% average daily range in the S&P would be 19 points.

Remember what I said 2 years ago that we would never revisit the ATH, comparing it to the Japanese stock market? I spoke prematurely at that time, but I have a feeling 2021 ATH might turn out to be a zenith for a very long time. I just feel the world economy has really changed within the last few years. American supremacy is slipping and I don't believe it can support the world economy by importing goods from around the world as it used to. Also pandemic will be more rampant in the future bringing the economy down to its knees.

It's all a speculation for now, but one thing is for sure. The market ain't gonna get the same free pass they've enjoyed for the last 13 years.
