Good training courses on strategies?

  1. Then trade. That is the only good course.

  2. This is pretty good for socializing. I once met a nice girl at a trading conference. I learned nothing about systems there. Do not expect also to learn anything. Just hype and a few idiots that do not trade. Save your money or better open an account and use it to learn reality.

  3. I knew this one guy he was having a mid-life crisis. he would just hang around the TSX all day.

Maybe you can pick an exchange and travel to couple of them?

  4. Of course I am trading, with mediocre results so far...

I guess I am reaching a stage where I need some sort of enlightening...

  7. O boy ... do I smell a sales pitch coming

The better question is what sorts of things the OP wants to learn.

There are legit seminars at some of the expos, and Bright runs a good program for beginning traders. Everyone wants to sell you something, (otherwise they'd be trading), so just keep that in mind.

  9. That's why I am seeking recommendations and words-of-mouth on this forum.

I would like to learn macro and fundamentals trading in global commodities and FX...

    Thank you!
