One year all I took were sells in day trading IBM and handful of stocks for short term, did far better than the longs.
The long only people last for a while........ and with the most almighty bloody shove from $trillions in QE they have had the going all their own way but the market will turn- could be anything that triggers it, but it will fall, and the long only strategy will no longer work.
You are better off staying low key and just working on it on your own, from what it sounds like you are doing well. No need to muddle the waters bringing someone in who will end up mooching or sapping your energy. Over time you will get better as you hone your craft.
