When I was in college a few hundred years ago some buddies picked up tickets for Neil Young, and got one for me without asking. I didn't want to go, as I thought he was more country sounding than rock. I got talked into going. One of the best concerts I've ever been to! Went again when he came back through Minneapolis another time, same experience. He had some amazing jams. Worst concert of all time was the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan at the Metrodome. The sound was horrendous. The show may have been good, but the dome was a crap place for a concert. Sorry for the interruption.
One of my earliest memories that remains stuck in my head is also the only time I ever saw my Mother cry. I asked her what was the matter. She was sitting on the floor in front of the radio. She said that President Kennedy had just been shot. I distinctly remember not saying a word to anybody about any thing for the rest of the day. A couple years later this track came out on LP and we had just bought a stereo record player. Not this exact track, but this song recorded in studio. I bought that album with money I made cutting yards.
