Sold - AUD/USD 0.83484 6 pips I can hate myself later. I can't stand struggling trades and I'm tired of watching this candle (which, btw, is sticky, laggy, and wrong about 50% of the time) get shot down. It'll explode upward now that I'm out though. Yes, I'm a whiner, but no one ever blew out an account taking profit. Does USD/CHF track inverse of AUD/USD? Or is it just because one is long USD and one is short USD?
Missed out on that AUD/USD trade hardcore. Glad to see old Benny still has his finger on the happy button. He say's it's all better and... it's all better. Short GBP/USD .1.65888 x1 First lesson in not taking a position around news time. That got ugly and you gotta love those "rate changed" pop ups when you're trying to get out. Back down to earth now. Don't fail me now Benny, USD rally all the way.
I don't want to play anymore, too crazy. Covered - GBP/USD 1.66122 -23.4 pips Not surprisingly, we're immediately and significantly down from the second I sold.
Hey look at that, I'd be break even right now... EDIT: Oh wait... now I'd be up... That's aggrevating. EDIT: 47 pips up now... banging... head... on... wall
Well I gotta say, all in all this has been a shitty day. A few more minutes in both trades would have netted me some massive returns and hit both of my profit targets... instead I leave after getting news spike raped out of over 1/3 of my weekly gains. What sucks more is that I've been waiting for cable to hit that resistance level again, and I had a solid position... shitty day... Total after week #1: +40.7 pips
New week of madness.... Been a boring day so far. Waking up after 9:00EST = lots of missed moves. Oh well. Starting out the week with a crappy/iffy trade: Long GBP/USD - 1.64210 x1
Sold GPD/USD - 1.64299 8.9 pips Just a quick, counter-trend scalp. Pushing a little higher now, but I'm happy with what I got. Will watch for retest of support. What a boring day so far...
Pretty boring day, IMO. Didn't want to force more small trades in a choppy, going nowhere market so I enjoyed the day instead. Don't feel like doing anything now, and so ends the day. Week 2, Day 1: +49.6 pips
Well, started the morning missing the down move on USD/CAD that I was scoping out for a half hour. Just one more case in which I saw it, knew it was good, but failed to pull the trigger because fear got in the way. Ended up being a solid short-term move, might even end being good for the day too. Missed the upward rebound as well. Some days the confidence just isn't there. Tripping over gold bars and picking up pennies...
