I'm looking for a good advance option book. I know the basics about options and option strategies. I'm thinking about buying
"Option Volatility & Pricing: Advanced Trading Strategies and Techniques (Hardcover)" by Sheldon Natenberg.

Does any know if this is a good book or recommend something else?

    Thanks

Great book! I read it over one weekend borrowed from the library, and the next Monday I ordered it.

  3. I've read it a couple times. It is pretty good and does what it was intended for. A little outdated for the internet trading world, but good nonetheless.

Don't expect it to help you if you are a directional trader. But if you want to learn more about volatility, it will be a good read.

  5. The very same book was the course book at the CBOT when I applied for my options badge (way back). He (Sheldon) taught the course using his own book (what a trip!). Everybody had to take the course before was allowed on the floor....

  6. Just courious...was HE a good teacher?

  7. As I remember yes.

Cache Landing had it right, it's a bit dated ('94?) but it's worth while.

    kny 3

  9. Would anyone recommend some of the current option books? Thanks
