I have not read anywhere what the results of the biopsies were. I say biopsies, because she had two tumors- different locations. Yes it was reported that the biopsy results showed cancer but it did not specify the origin. Some lung cancers arise separately in the lung and have lung cancer cells. But the lung and the brain are often the next targets for cancer cells that have spread from other sites. By looking at the biopsy, they already know whether the cancer cells in the lungs are lung cancer cells or -instead- pancreatic cancer cells or colon cancer cells that have metastisized/sp there from the original sites. Big, big, big, big difference in survival rates between a localized single site cancer versus one that got there because cancer cells are adrift throughout the body. Another immediate ultra-red flag is there were two tumors in separate locations in the lung. That's a troubling sign. Two sites weakens the "single site has not spread" theory. Her doctors already know the answer to whether it is localized or has cancer cells from the another location. If it spread from the pancreas, the lung cancer would comprised of pancreatic cancer cells. They would have biopsied her lymph glands too because lymphatic fluid is one of the major means that cancer cells use to spread. Maybe she is okay. Just sayin there is more information available than has been disclosed. There is always room to beat the odds though even if it has metastisized even if the odds are remote. Jimmy Carter is currently doing so. There's a guy right there who must be taking his Noni Juice.
